Exploding Cinema returns to Peckham this Thursday the 19th June for second show at SET 
For one night we’ll be bringing our showcase of short films and our kaleidoscope of clapped out projectors to the wonderful SET Social https://www.instagram.com/set.social.peckham/ in Peckham Rye, part of SET https://setspace.uk , an organisation who host artist events and studios throughout London.
 
Come and enjoy new independent short films from international film makers in all genres.
 
As well as the programme of short films, enjoy our trademark kaleidoscopic psychedelic projections that cover every surface.
 
Active constantly since 1991, Exploding Cinema regularly screens underground film in squats, pubs, clubs, cafes and halls across the UK and around the world. Fighting against industry elitism, we’ve shown more than five thousand low or no budget films/videos and staged shows in disused factories, office blocks, circus tents, churches and in the deep end of a squatted Lido. All shows are open access, volunteer-run and held regularly since 1991.
At Exploding Cinema anyone can screen their film and anyone can join the collective. 
A vibrant screening experience for filmmakers and audiences alike.
