Exploding Cinema is back at the Cinema Museum for their last 2024 show this November, projecting a programme of independent shorts submitted from all over the world. Drama, Documentary, Animation, Experimental, weird and wonderful share the main screen, while the rest of the walls (and the ceiling) play host to the Exploding Cinema’s legendary eclectic psychedelic visuals projection show
Come and enjoy new independent short films from international film makers in all genres as long as it’s less than 20 minutes.

All shows are open access, volunteer-run and funded only by our live show ticket sales held regularly since 1991. A vibrant screening experience for filmmakers and audiences alike.
As well as a programme of short films, see live music, raffle prizes and our trademark kaleidoscopic psychedelic projections that cover every surface that isn’t the screen.
